When your car's windshield gets dirty, it isn't that hard to fix. All you need to do is press a button and your windshield wipers get to work. With the help of windshield wiper fluid, they get off all the stains and smudges.

Let’s say your windshield wiper fluid is empty, can you use water instead of windshield wiper fluid? Although you can use water as windshield wiper fluid in a tight jam to lubricate the windshild, our staff at Sport City Toyota does not recommend it. Water doesn't contain any of the solvents or detergents that are found in windshield wiper fluid. This means your windshield will not be as clean. Also, during the winter, water freezes into ice. Windshield wiper fluid will not freeze.

If you want to keep your windshield as clean as possible, don't substitute your windshield wiper fluid. Our staff over here at Sport City Toyota would love to help you out and answer any car related questions you have, so don't hesitate to give us a call or drop by the dealership whenever its convenient for you.
